🏁 Attention Racers – SMKA 2025 Club Race Season – Round 2🔥 SEASON OVERVIEW
The 2025 SMKA Club Race Season is an 8-race championship series with 1 drop race (excluding DQs). Season points are calculated from the best 7 finishes.
⚠️ ALL HOOSIER TIRE RULE IS NOW IN EFFECT
Starting this round (April 6th), all racers must be on the approved Hoosier tire per class requirements. No exceptions. Please check the class list for details.
🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Must be an SMKA Member by May 1, 2025
Must compete in at least 4 races this season
🎖 AWARDS
Fast Qualifier, 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each class
Kid Kart drivers placing 4th or lower will also receive awards
Awards presented at the end of the race day
📊 LIVE TIMING
Speed Hive live timing available.
Transponders available for rent.
📋 RULES & TECH INFO
WKA rules apply (Briggs & Stratton rules for LO206)
Must have tech completed before practice
Tech sticker is required to enter the grid
Tires used for qualifying must be used the entire race day
All karts and safety gear will be inspected
🛡 SAFETY GEAR REQUIRED
Full-face helmet (per WKA 2024 standards)
Neck collar (all classes)
Chest protector (mandatory for drivers 12 and under)
Gloves, abrasion-resistant clothing (no hoodies), closed-toe shoes
Hair must be secured (balaclava or head sock required)
Rib protection strongly recommended

Minor release for drivers under 18
Wristbands included with race entry (extras available for purchase)
📌 NOTE ON JUNIOR CLASSES
Drivers must have reached the minimum age for their class by race day. No exceptions.
🛠 POINTS & TIEBREAKERS
DQ = 0 points | DNS = 0 points | DNF = points based on final position
Tiebreaker logic includes final race finish, head-to-head wins, qualifying results, and Fast Qualifier awards
❗ SCALE & TECH AREA CONDUCT
Only current-session drivers allowed in the white box during scaling
Violations may result in disqualification
Tire & engine markings applied after qualifying
