Join us in welcoming Smith’s Mounted Medieval Clinic to Wolf Hollow Ranch to teach a clinic for those interested in trying something different with their horse.
"Lori has excelled at honing her skills on horseback and with weapons since 2007. What started as a cool thing became a passion and a want to do more. With the help of Brook and others, Avacal Equestrian came to be, bringing the equestrian program to western Canada within the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).
In 2018, with her husband Brad they also created Smith’s Mounted Medieval Clinics to be able to offer a taste of skill at arms to the public in a safe and enjoyable way. 2018 was a year of change as along with running clinics she finally met Radar, (yay!) and riding with her in 2019 it seemed only natural to join STALC for future endeavours.

We can only take 3 more horse/rider teams. For the best experience, we do require that horse and rider be able to confidently walk, trot and canter and preferably one handed in order to be able to handle the mock weapons and obstacles. Any breed is welcome!
First portion of the day will consist of ground skills for horse and rider followed by lunch (that will be supplied by Wolf Hollow Ranch). The second half of the day will consist of under saddle skills and a little course at the end of the day to wrap up! 10am to 4pm. This is an outdoor event, weather permitting so please come prepared.
Tuition - $175/horse and rider team. This includes the haul in, clinic fee AND lunch! Please notify us of any potential food allergies BEFORE the clinic.
