The Michigan State University Extension is pleased to present three Smart Gardening Presentations at Windmill Island Gardens this Fall! Each evening class, paired with popcorn and cider, will be held rain or shine inside the Celebration Pavilion or inside the Posthouse if weather requires. Classes have a nominal fee that helps fund the Smart Pollinator Garden maintained by the MSU Extension and MSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. The pollinator garden showcases a plethora of blooming plants that entice and nurture pollinators all season long. Explore and enjoy this educational display located at Windmill Island Gardens. Class topics will include Native Trees, Native Perennials, and Bulbs. Each class will run from 6:00pm – 7:30pm on Wednesdays September 25, October 2, and October 9. Class registration is $10 per class, or you can register for all 3 classes to save $10!
