Join us for an annual gathering of the Smart Doll community here at the doll museum!Bring your Smart Dolls and join us for our second annual meetup & celebration with the Carolina Smart Doll Club.
Date & Location:
Saturday, June 20
11 am to 2 pm
Group photo at 12 pm!
We will have a special meetup room inside the museum during this timeframe. Museum is open 10 am to 4 pm.
At the NC Museum of Dolls, Toys & Miniatures at 440 South Salisbury Avenue, Spencer, NC 28159
Cost & Registration:
No pre-registration is required. Just pay admission to the museum at the door when you arrive (cash or card). Admission ranges from $5 to $10 per person.
About This Event:
Join us for a casual and fun Smart Doll community meetup.
All dolls are welcome! Smart Doll not required.
Walk around our museum and check out our collection of Smart Dolls, antique & vintage dolls, miniatures, model trains, and more!
Bring your dolls, take photos, and connect with other collectors!
Our museum is located in the quaint and vibrant town of Spencer, NC, in Rowan County. See the local sights! Lunch spots are available within walking distance of the museum.
Personal buy/sell/trade/swaps are welcome, but no vendors please.
In Honor of Tommy
1 year ago in June 2025, we gathered with the Smart Doll community here at the museum to celebrate the life and legacy of a beloved Smart Doll collector, Tommy Meggs.
An incredible Smart Doll donation was made to the museum at that time facilitated by the Carolina Smart Doll Club. We received a stunning Smart Doll Mirai from the Carolina Smart Doll Club in Tommy’s honor plus a prototype donated by Danny Choo.
We are so grateful to the Club, Tommy’s wife Misty, Danny, and the entire Smart Doll community for their generous support of the museum!
