When the Small Tire Pro Stock class debuted early this year, enthusiasm ensued.
Racers were raring to put down as much power as they could in their cars with naturally aspirated combinations, and race fans were ready to experience the excitement.
Small Tire Pro Stock racers are now preparing to participate in the last of six races on the inaugural tour. It is set for Sept. 26-27, 2025 at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland, and will run in conjunction with the track’s Outlaw Street Car Shootout Series.
Small Tire Pro Stock racers, who have shown sheer determination throughout the racing season, will be joined by additional naturally aspirated, small tire racers who have yet to compete with the class, and the competition will be captivating from the starting line to the finish line.
While the track is not offering a test session or parking on Thursday, Sept. 25, there is a Love’s Travel Stop near the exit.
On Friday, Sept. 26, gates will open at 8 a.m., testing will begin at 10 a.m., the first round of qualifying will begin at 6 p.m. and the second round of qualifying will begin at 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 27, the final round of qualifying will begin at 9 a.m. and eliminations will follow.
After this event, Small Tire Pro Stock racers will turn their focus to attending the Performance Racing Industry Show, Dec. 11-13, 2025 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, and finalizing a fantastic 2026 event schedule.
