Small Practice Community - Coworking Day (CPD included)

We’d like to invite all RIBA members from small practices and sole practitioners to come together for a co-working day at The Farrell Centre in Newcastle.

Following the success of previous co-working days delivered in the North East in 2026, we’d love to see even more members benefitting from the opportunity to work alongside other small practices across the region. This is a chance to connect, collaborate, and share ideas in a supportive environment.

Event details

9.00am–4.00pm – Co-working space available throughout the day, with flexible use of the space as attendees wish

9.30am – Embodied Carbon Tools for Smaller Practices

In this session, we’ll explore the tools available to smaller practices and how embodied carbon calculations can be carried out when there is less time and budget available.

12.30pm – Fee Calculator CPD with Q&A

Join Steven Cross for a lunchtime presentation and discussion on fee calculators, with the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences.

This meet-up is also open to anyone currently employed, unemployed, or considering setting up their own practice.

For those joining for the day of co-working lunch will be included.
