Small Hands Big Feelings Art Therapy Workshop for Kids (6–12 yrs)
Kids feel everything so deeply happiness anger sadness excitement and sometimes they don’t know how to handle it all. This workshop gives them a fun creative space to understand their feelings and learn simple ways to manage them.
Here’s what we’ll do:
✨ Through drawing and playful activities kids will explore their big feelings.
✨ We’ll show them small art-based strategies to calm down when they feel upset or overwhelmed.
✨ They’ll get to make their own “Emotion Puppet” and a “Calm Tool” something they can use at home whenever those feelings get too big.
✨ Most importantly they’ll have fun while learning in a safe and supportive space.
What kids will take back:
💝 Their very own puppet and calm tool (handmade by them)
💝 Easy techniques to manage emotions in daily life
💝 A sense of confidence that “I can handle my feelings”
It’s not a heavy class it’s light creative and designed to make children feel comfortable understood and empowered.
