Join IKON Financial Group on Friday, September 11 for an evening of Small Business Speed Networking at Grizzli Winery in Kelowna.We're bringing together business owners and professionals from across the Okanagan for a different kind of networking event.Attendance will be limited to 50 people, and we're planning approximately 20 three-minute networking rounds, giving you the opportunity to personally meet around 20 other business professionals in a single hour.The format is simple. You'll sit across from another attendee and have three minutes to introduce yourselves, talk about what you do, and exchange contact information. When the three minutes are up, one side moves over and the next conversation begins.After the structured rounds, we'll open things back up for another hour of casual networking so you can reconnect with the people you'd like to continue talking to.

Registration is free, but attendance is limited to 50 people.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase directly from Grizzli Winery throughout the evening, including wine by the glass, beer, coolers, non-alcoholic options and light bites.

Event Schedule

5:00–5:30 p.m. | Arrival & Open Networking

Check in, grab a drink and meet some of the other attendees before we get started.

5:30–6:00 p.m. | Welcome & Introductions

We'll officially kick off the evening with a welcome from IKON Financial Group and Grizzli Winery, introduce our event sponsors, and explain how the speed networking rounds will work.

6:00–7:00 p.m. | Corporate Speed Networking

This is the main event.We'll work through approximately 20 three-minute rounds. Each round gives you a chance to meet another business professional, learn about what they do, share a little about yourself and your business, and exchange contact information.By the end of the hour, you could have around 20 new contacts in your network.

7:00–8:00 p.m. | Open Networking & Door Prizes

We'll finish the evening with an hour of open networking.Reconnect with someone you met during the speed networking rounds, continue a conversation that was cut short by the timer, grab another drink, and get to know some of the other people in the room.We'll also be drawing our three door prizes during the final hour.

Bring Your Business Cards!

You'll definitely want business cards for the networking rounds, but bring an extra one for our door prize draw.Every registered attendee can drop a business card into the draw when they arrive. We'll draw three winners during the evening.

Grand Prize: A Free Corporate Tax Return

One attendee will win a corporate tax return prepared by IKON Financial Group, valued at up to $1,000.

To enter, you must be registered for the event, attend in person, drop your business card into the draw, and be present when the winners are announced.

Corporate tax return prize is limited to a maximum value of $1,000 and is subject to IKON Financial Group's standard client acceptance and engagement requirements. Services outside the scope of the prize or exceeding the $1,000 maximum value are not included. Prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.
