Mora Area Small Animal Auction Announcement. September 26th
Consignments
Taking consignments on Friday, September 25th 8am-6pm & Saturday 7-9:00am.
There will be a poultry tester on site and the cost is $1.50 per bird for testing.
Make the cages accessible for auction staff with dishes for food and water. If the cages do not include dishes, we will provide them at a charge of $2 per cage. Please note that paper bowls are not considered dishes. Red solo cups aren't recommended for the use of dishes. All dishes should be fastened to the side of the pen.
Animals need to be visible with plenty of room.
❗️No cardboard boxes, no baskets, no barrels, and no tubs. All cages need to be durable and able to be stacked. ❗️Plastic hard sided pet carriers aren't recommended as suitable cages as they tend to build up moisture and limit the visibility of the animals.
Please consider animals' well-being when you are configuring your cages.
Auction staff have the right to refuse any consignments. Make sure all animals are in good health.

Order of the sale is as follows
Ring 1:
Inside Miscellaneous
Warm Room
Ring 2:
Outside Miscellaneous
Hooved Stock
After hooved stock is finished, both rings will come together inside to sell caged animals
All horses need negative coggins
✅️ All miscellaneous must be animal related
All out of state Poultry must have a current negative Pullorum-Typhoid Disease test result and import permit. Permits can be obtained with the state of origin. All animals crossing state lines must have a health certificate.
All pigeons are exempt from testing. Turkeys must be tested before sale day.
All in state birds have to be tested negative for PT or be tested on site. All poultry under 4 months old has to come from an NPIP certified flock.
All chicks and eggs must come from a NPIP certified flock.
We aren't accepting eating eggs
*No credit card payments.

We are not responsible for accidents or theft.
Announcements on sale day take precedence over any printed material.
Commission rate
18% for all caged animals & miscellaneous
10% +$2 yardage fee on hooved animals
