Join artist and Make Space collective member Amanda Donohue to learn how to upcycle your fabric scraps to create a cute little bird to hang around your home, gift to a loved one or keep in your pocket. In this relaxed session Amanda will talk you through composition, a range of stitches including Japanese Boro stitching, different materials and threads.
Sit and chat with others, unwind stitch by stitch and by the end of the workshop you will have learnt valuable skills and created your own beautiful unique bird.
Aimed at anyone aged 18 years and above.
All materials and tools provided to create a beautiful bird, plus light refreshments (tea/coffee and possibly some home made cake)
Bookings essential as places are limited. Minimum of 3 participants are needed for the workshop to proceed.
This course is perfect for beginners. No experience is needed.
Price is $80 per person and includes all materials, use of necessary equipment and light refreshments.
