Slow Hatha Yoga Flow - Manly (Wednesdays 5:30pm)
About this Event
This is a calm, intentional yoga practice rooted in traditional Hatha yoga and influenced by the Vikasa method, which emphasises breath-led movement, longer holds, and a balance of strength, mobility, and deep stretching.
Classes combine slow, controlled transitions with steady holds to help you build strength, improve mobility and flexibility, and develop a deeper awareness of your body. Movement is closely linked to the breath, creating a meditative rhythm that encourages presence and focus.
Each class begins and ends with simple breathwork (pranayama), creating space to settle, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself. The practice follows a gentle arc, gradually building energy through movement before guiding you into stillness and rest, and is supported by specially designed Vikasa music, created to move with the rhythm and energetic arc of the practice, helping cultivate focus, presence, and a deeply immersive experience.
Designed as a midweek evening reset, this is an opportunity to step away from the constant doing of daily life, unwind after the day, and return to a more grounded, present state.
Suitable for all levels, with options and support offered throughout. Whether you’re new to yoga or have an existing practice, you are welcome.
Yoga mats and props are provided.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can begin on time.
