Slow Food ATL Cookbook Club with Judith McLoughlin
About this Event
Slow Food Atlanta's Cookbook Club is back with a special evening celebrating Irish-American cuisine! Join us at The Cook's Warehouse for a cooking demo and community potluck featuring author and culinary expert Judith McLoughlin.
Judith is the chef and founder of The Shamrock and Peach, an Atlanta-based gourmet food business specializing in Irish cuisine. Born and raised in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, she's spent years blending traditional Irish techniques with Southern flavors, earning her a reputation as one of the most recognized Irish food voices in the region. She's the author of two cookbooks — The Shamrock and Peach and A Return to Ireland — and has partnered with names like Whole Foods, Tourism Ireland, and Kerrygold.
For this Cookbook Club gathering, Judith will lead a live demo drawn from her recipes, sharing stories and techniques from her culinary journey between Ireland and the American South. Then it's potluck time — bring a dish inspired by Judith's cookbooks (or any favorite recipe!) to share with fellow Slow Food Atlanta members and cookbook lovers.
Whether you're an Irish food enthusiast, a cookbook collector, or just love good food and good company, this is a night not to miss. Seats are limited, so grab your ticket today!
