In-person class: Fresh Pasta 101 (Atlanta)

Join us for an immersive cooking experience where we delve into the exquisite world of Italian cuisine. In this hands-on class, you will learn the traditional techniques of crafting delicate tagliatelle pasta from scratch, as well as mastering the art of creating a vibrant and flavorful fresh pesto sauce. Our expert chef will guide you through the process of mixing, kneading, and rolling out the dough to achieve the perfect consistency for tagliatelle and will teach you the proper cooking techniques to achieve al dente perfection. While your pasta is resting, you will delve into the world of pesto sauce. Using fresh basil, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil, you will create a vibrant green pesto sauce from scratch and discover the balance of flavors and textures that make pesto a beloved Italian classic.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests will work in groups throughout the class, sharing equipment and ingredients. BYOB-beer and wine is welcome for guests who are 21 and older.
To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 21+.
