Join Trisha for a 45 minute gentle yoga flow followed by a nature walk!Learn how slowing down is good for your nervous system, your brain and chronic pain. The yoga class will consist of gentle stretching and movements to soothe and lengthen your muscles while focusing on your breath. After class, we will take a short trip a few minutes from the studio to a beautiful hike. This walk will take us along a gurgling brook, winding through the trees, with plenty of opportunity to stop and take in the sights and sounds the forest has to offer. We hope to see spring ephemerals amongst the new plants! Bring your binoculars if you’d like to join Trisha spotting migrating birds! Don’t be surprised if we pause near the water for a guided meditation or to look at a critter!
The hike will be as long or as short as you like, feel free to take it at your own pace. There are gradual slopes along the unpaved trail, so be sure to bring good shoes.
Note: This event will happen rain or shine. If you’ve never walked in the woods during a rain shower, you might be in for a treat!”
