Event Overview

Join us at Granville Island for Slow Fashion in Action as part of Fashion Revolution Week! This free, outdoor public event brings the community together to explore sustainable fashion, creativity, and repair.

What’s happening:

• 🧵 Mending Workshops: Learn hands-on techniques to repair and extend the life of your clothes. All levels welcome.
• 🎨 Art Installation: Created by Nicole Dextras.
• 🤝 Collective Project: Contribute to a community-led art + fashion initiative.
• 🎤 Panel Conversation: Hear from changemakers in ethical and sustainable fashion.

Collaborators: Put together by Fashion Revolution in collaboration with Dreamstill, LaSalle College and Granville Island.

Who Should Attend: Open to all ages, fashion lovers, students, and anyone curious about slow fashion. Bring an item to mend or just come to learn and be inspired!
