Save the date for Slow Balboa Weekend 2026 with Lizou and Cara! This year’s event will have 2 track levels, 2 days of classes, and 3 nights of social dancing, including a live band on Saturday night!

Slow Bal, or Slow Balboa, is a close embrace swing dance from the 1940s. You dance it to the slow jazz music of that time. It is a playful and elegant dance, influenced by historic dancers Dean and Nancy Raftery and Ray Cunningham.
