Slipper limpet survey - June 2026

Help look for the invasive species, the slipper limpet along our shores at low tide. Organised by Moray Ocean Community

Searching for the sea snail the slipper limpet: we are mapping the presence and absence of this marine invasive non native species (mINNS) and will meet to search around Petty Bay at low tide. Please wear waterproof footwear (pref rubber boots) which are clean and dry as we will be close to the waters edge). There is a small layby for parking approx 2-3 cars so please share lifts. I will drive from Cromarty and take 3 three others so let me know.
