Time for a weekend sling meet! If you are interested in carrying your child, this is for you. No experience or skills needed. Bring your baby (or not), carriers (or not), good mood (mandatory) and wrapping skills (or lack of such) and come to meet other parents to learn more about babywearing, or just to hang out and socialise.
Come and enjoy some slinging and chattering about how babywearing can help managing life with a newborn, or how your toddler doesn't (or does?) agree that a sling is the best way to get from A to B:)
There will be a table designated for items for sale, to make it easier to find or promote available items to buy second hand.

If you are not already a member of the group Stavanger Slinging, which runs these meets, we would be very pleased to have you join us!
The meet is free of charge.
Location: Oransjeriet. We are using the function room which is to the right at the end if you enter the main entrance.
Please be mindful that this is a public space / restaurant and **aim to leave any strollers outside so we do not block the restaurant space!**. Many TIA.
Limited parking outside, bus no 4 stops outside, and walkable in 10 mins from Fiskepiren.
Playgrounds nearby for older children: A park just outside, a small playground across the road outside Extra, two bigger ones outside Extra Støperigården and behind Tou Scene about 5 mins walk. There is no play corner inside Oransjeriet.
Oransjeriet sells food and drink, including very child friendly pancakes. It is not possible to bring your own food.
