Welcome to Round 4 of Slideways Showdown - Spooky Nights and Tail Lights!Get ready for a Halloween-themed weekend of tire smoke, costumes, candy, and tandem chaos!
Join us October 25th & 26th, 2025 at Painesville Speedway for a drift-filled fall festival that runs all
weekend long -- including Trunk or Track festivities in the evening!
Costumes Encouraged!
Bring Carved Pumpkins!
Trunk or Track (Candy Exchange) -- Happening around 6:30 PM Saturday

SATURDAY - October 25th
10:00 AM - Gates Open for Drivers
11:00 AM - Tech Inspection Begins
12:00 PM - Gates Open to Spectators
12:00 PM - Driver's Meeting (Competition Meeting follows)
12:15 PM - Open Drifting Begins
3:00 PM - Drift Competition
5:30 PM - Open Drift Resumes
6:30 PM - Trunk or Track Halloween Candy Exchange
8:30 PM - Pumpkin Smashing
11:00 PM - Drifting Ends
Note:
Costumes are encouraged! Bring a bucket of candy to hand out at your trunk for Trunk or Track
around 6:30 PM. Bonus points for spooky car lighting and decor!

9:00 AM - Wristband Check
10:00 AM - Gates Open for Sunday Drivers
11:00 AM - Tech Inspection
12:00 PM - Gates Open to Public
12:15 PM - Driver's Meeting
12:30 PM - Open Drifting
6:00 PM - Drifting Ends, Clean Up

Spectators - $15 Per Person

Camping Info:
Overnight camping is allowed for all 2-day drivers.
Quiet hours enforced -- be respectful of neighbors.
Small radios and above-ground fire pits are allowed in pit area.
Basic Tech Inspection Requirements:
- Water only -- no coolant
- No visible fluid leaks
- Battery properly secured with cover (no straps, no zip ties)
- Snell SA2015+ helmet (no DOT, M, or K)
- Fire extinguisher required
- Tow hooks front & rear
- Proper restraints (stock belts ok without cage; harnesses with cage)
- Roll bar required for convertibles (extends above helmet)
- Closed-toe shoes required
If you fail tech, you cannot drift until your car passes.

Painesville Speedway is a 1/5-mile oval with a figure-eight infield layout -- ideal for exciting, creative
layouts, drift practice, and tandem action.
