SLFL August 19, 2026 Packing Event

On Packing Day we sort all the community donations and pack those beautiful boxes to send to our local heroes. Our packing room is in the back of the building on the left at 101 Mission Drive in Slidell. All our faithful volunteers and the interested public are welcome to join in and help. After packing some of our volunteers will be going to Camellia Point Restaurant (2998 Pontchartrain Dr., Slidell) for lunch. Lunch is open to any packing volunteer that would like to join in. All orders and costs are at the individual's expense. Camellia Point supports SLFL and our deployed troops so we hope you will join in for lunch and help us show Camellia Point our appreciation. Our highlighted donation item for August is Tuna in foil packets. Any brand or flavor is welcome. All donations are welcome and appreciated, but we pick at one item each month that we are currently most in need of. If you want to donate Tuna or any other items, you can bring them to our packing event on August 19th or drop them in one of our donation boxes located at businesses around town.
