Somic America is proud to partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - VA, Wythe Co to host an on-site Bed Build Day at our Wytheville manufacturing plant on Saturday, October 18! Together, we are working toward the goal of building more than 40 beds for local children who currently do not have a bed of their own.
We are looking for as many as 100 volunteers to help make this event a success. No carpentry or construction experience is required—training will be provided for every step of the process, including sawing, sanding, drilling, assembling, staining, and branding wood. This is a family-friendly event open to adults, kids, coworkers, churches, schools, and community groups, and we’ll provide lunch for everyone who participates.
When the beds are finished, Sleep in Heavenly Peace will deliver each one along with a brand-new set of sheets, comforter, and pillow. Imagine the joy of a child who has been sleeping on the floor or a couch finally having a bed of their own. Please join us on October 18 11AM to 4PM at the Somic America Plant (343 E.
