The Slam Poetry Workshop is an exploration of authentic self-expression through the power of the spoken word. By incorporating history of the slam poetry movement, media presentations of spoken word artists, and engaging in interactive exercises, we will learn our own path to the spoken word ("slam poetry") and be given the opportunity to write and share our own poems.
