An inductee into New York’s Blues Hall Of Fame, Slam developed his stage craft and artistry with nine years on the road as James Cotton’s lead guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, and he’s been raising the bar every year since then!Elly Wininger is a New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee, acoustic and slide guitarist, and songwriter known for her roots in the Greenwich Village Folk and Blues scene. She played the opening night at the legendary CBGB’s. She was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2014, and her album The Blues Never End (2021) spent over four months in the top six albums on the Roots Music Report’s Acoustic Blues chart, with several weeks at Number One. Following a win in the Hudson Valley Blues Society Solo/Duo Challenge she was a semifinalist in the 2023 International Blues Competition. Beyond performing, Wininger has produced award-winning music documentaries for public radio and hosted radio shows. She is the creator of the “Our Song” program which empowers people of all ages and abilities to write their own songs.
