Skywhales Across Australia: Art Steps with Patricia Piccinini

Continue the fun after seeing Skywhales Across Australia with a hands-on workshop for children!

Explore the natural world, and Goulburn's own special fauna, through open-ended creativity and play with internationally renowned artist Patricia Piccinini.

Participants will learn about the ways that animals adapt for their environments, and design their own uniquely adapted and carefully considered animal in clay.

This program is recommended for children aged 8+ (all children under 12 must be supervised by a parent/carer at all times).All materials will be provided.

Skywhales Across Australia is a National Gallery Touring Event, supported by the Australian Government through Visions of Australia and the National Collecting Institutions Touring Outreach Program.

Skywhales is the third instalment of The Balnaves Contemporary Series and is a Know My Name project.
