Join us for a sunset electronic music gathering on the Hwy 178 pedestrian bridge.

Music starts around 6 PM and we’ll ride the sunset into the evening with open-air DJ sets and community vibes above the city.

Jonathan (Bike Jam) – Jonathan will be DJing for the first time and showcasing the Bike Jam mobile sound system, originally built to bring music and good vibes to group bike rides around Bakersfield.

About the Event

This gathering is a little different from the usual Bike Jam rides.

There will not be a group ride — this one is a destination hang on the bridge. You are welcome to ride your bike there, but most people will likely park nearby and walk up.

Expect sunset views, open-air electronic music, and a relaxed community atmosphere.

Near the Mt. Vernon exit
Also accessible from Sunny Ln / Heights St

Parking

Street parking near the bridge is closest if available.

If street parking fills up, there is additional parking near the nearby school and at the Lowe’s shopping center.

Please note you may need to walk a few minutes to reach the bridge depending on where you park.

Restrooms

Nearest public restrooms are located at the shopping center near Lowe’s.

Event Time

Meet up around 6 PM.
Music starts shortly after.

We will wrap up at 10 PM out of respect for the public space and nearby neighborhood.
