Setting up day of cleaning up our coastline here in St. Pete. From Maximo park area south down the skyway trail. This is an opportune moment to help I think and also get together for some bonding and socializing that may be needed by many.
Trash bags will be provided. If you need gloves, which I do recommend, please bring your own. Or grabbers if you need. We will have people capable of grabbing large bags once they are filled and bringing them to trucks and trailers to be hauled away. Ice water and coolers will be available for everyone to stay hydrated. This will be an all day effort so anytime that will work during the day, please come and help even if for a short period. Parking at Maximo will be the best spot and we can use bikes, onewheels, EUCs, and anything else to help.
We will have people with radios that will coordinate bringing more bags, bringing water, and delivering loaded bags to trucks.
We will have a couple numbers to call as well as the telegram to communicate.
Going to try and have some hotdogs and hamburgers through the day as needed so when you’re tired and hungry you can let whoever is helping know and they can cook something up.
And to end the day for those that want to stay and enjoy some friends and company. Grilling of some more hotdogs and burgers at Maximo to fill some bellies as needed and relax and enjoy a sunset.
