Skyview "K-FUN" Summer School | K-Wellness Day

Attention K-pop boys and girls! Are you ready for the “K-Fun" Summer School at Skyview High?!

We have expanded our wildly popular annual “K-Fun” Korean cultural festival to span six weeks, with one day during each designated week dedicated to exploring the vibrant and captivating facets of Korean pop music, art, fashion, wellness, food and traditional cultural experiences!

On 7/18, we will hold a celebration of Korean wellness and martial arts. During this event, on the stage on Level 4, there will be a special Taekwondo performance by the masters and students from the Y.H. Park Taekwondo Academy as well as a K-“pop” posture correction demonstration by well-known Korean-American chiropractor and acupuncturist Dr. Ernest Kim who has been featured on CBS and Showtime and has collaborated with professional athletes from the Los Angeles Lakers and San Diego Padres.

Off-stage, Dr. Kim will also offer a Flexibility Fix Yoga Workshop starting at 7 p.m. on Level 6; this workshop will incorporate techniques from some of his social media channel’s most popular K-“pop” (sound of adjustments) videos that have garnered more than 1 million views per single reel.

Limited spots avaiable, participants of the workshop will recevie a FREE yoga mat onsite!

Participants who have attended more than four of these K-Fun events will receive a “graduation gift” that includes a postcard signed by beloved K-pop star Jung Dae Hyun.
