Detroit Lake Dual Sport Overnighter | August 1–2
We’re heading to Detroit Lake the weekend of August 1–2, and anyone with a plated dual sport and a sense of adventure is welcome to join.

We’ll meet between 7:00–7:30 AM on Saturday, August 1, with kickstands up and rolling promptly at 8:00 AM.
The route is approximately 120 miles each way, with the majority of the ride on forest roads through the Cascades. We’ll make a few stops along the way and fuel is available near Detroit Lake before camp / before we head home Sunday.
We’ll be camping Saturday night at Yellowbottom Recreation Site. Dry camp sites are first come first serve, and $15 per night, so bring your camping gear and plan to be self-sufficient.
This isn’t a guided ride, but the route is planned and the goal is simple: a full weekend of great riding, camping, and hanging out with other dual sport riders. Ride at your own pace, help each other out, and expect a fun, laid-back weekend.
