Hagan Wong (19) is a Hong Kong-born pianist with fifteen years of piano training. Currently in his second year studying Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh, he also pursues music courses alongside his degree. A holder of ABRSM Grade 8, he gained early performance experience as a worship pianist at his church in Hong Kong.

With a deep passion for anime music, Hagan is devoted to the virtuosic piano arrangements of Animenz, whose transcriptions form the centrepiece of tonight's programme. An avid fan of Attack on Titan, he brings both technical dedication and genuine emotional connection to the music of the series, which makes up the heart of this evening's repertoire.

Tonight's concert marks his first solo recital — a personal celebration of the anime soundtracks that have inspired him most.
