The Preservation of Jazz proudly presents "Take 5 - All Male Jazz Revue" a spectacular tribute event showcasing the timeless music of six legendary jazz icons. This unforgettable evening will take place on February 17th 2025 at the renowned Aretha's Jazz Cafe in Detroit Michigan.

An Unmissable Jazz Experience

"Take 5" will bring together six incredibly talented performers who will channel the spirits and sounds of jazz legends Al Jarreau (Mike Brock) Bill Withers (Man) Donny Hathaway (Terry Thomas) Louis Armstrong (David Greene) Billy Eckstine (Darren Jackson) and Leon Thomas (Kenny Watson). Each artist will pay homage to one of these icons bringing their music and unforgettable personas to life on stage.

The event will be hosted by the hilariously witty Comedian Mike Bonner ensuring a night filled with laughter charm and of course incredible music. Accompanied by a talented backing band—James Shelton on Piano Jeff Canady on Drums and Glenn Oliver on Bass—the evening promises to be an authentic and captivating musical experience.
