Doskocz-Lencastre-Wróblewski (PL,PT,CZ)
Michal Wróblewski and José Lencastre met together in 2022 in Paris at the event organized by Share Impro, platform that brings together improvised music collectives. From this concert came up an idea to form a duo and organise a short Portugese-Czech tour, which they did in 2023. José and Michal play music with no pre-determined structures, and although it is in a way based on the blending of the timbre of two identical instruments and relatively similar tonal aesthetics of the two players, anything can happen. Important concept of this duo is also to work with external musicians. That is what has led to the new project with established guitarist from Poland Pawel Doskocz. The two main purposes for this gathering is to connect three interesting European scenes as well as to create fresh music coming from the new constellation.
Gordoa-Mikyska
A brand new duo of Mexican percussionist Emilio Gordoa and Czech multi-instrumentalist Ian Mikyska. Drawing bridges between Berlin and Prague, México and Perú, acoustic instruments and electronic processing and feedback.
