Skip the Small Talk & Hike (Burke Lake, VA)

Join us for a scenic hike around Burke Lake, while enjoying facilitated deep conversations with prepared icebreakers and making new connections.

Meeting Point: Marina (under the sign as in the main event's photo)

Put into GPS: Burke Lake Park Marina to make it easier to locate.

Suggested donation cash: $5-$10 (to cover the cost of permit for the hike)

Parking: Either the parking lot adjacent to Marina, if no spaces- parking on the grass is permitted, and other parking lots around. Allow extra time for parking.

There most likely be a line of cars to get into the park, it is normal - as this event brings in a lot of attendees. We wait for everyone who is close to scheduled time:)

Park Entry Fee $12 (CASH)for Non-residents of Fairfax County, VA

As you enter the park, follow the arrows to the MARINA, keep slightly to the right as you pass through the chekck point, and straight toward the lake/water.

Meeting Time: 10:30 AM (Please be on time, if running late, message me (Irena) directly 571-315-1469)

If you are late : We will be starting our loop around the lake clockwise from the Marina. Start going left on the path if you are facing the lake. Text me if you are trying to cacth up.

Social warmup: 10:30 - 11:00 am

Hike Starts: 11:00 am

Distance: 4.7-mile loop, it will take about 2 hours. We will make a few breaks to rest and to keep switching conversation partners to optimize socializing.

Level: Easy/relaxed pace. Shaded path under the trees.

What to bring: Water.

Dogs are welcome! 🐶
