Speaker:

Mavis Anagboso

Mavis is the Chair of the DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) North East board, the Scottish Government’s initiative for delivering the national youth employment strategy.

Her career began over two decades ago with the UK Civil Service, where she held various Economics leadership roles to support UK Macroeconomic policy at the highest level, working with decision-makers at the Bank of England, the Ministry of Defence, and Her Majesty’s Treasury.

She subsequently progressed to the energy sector, working across the value chain for an operator, supplier and the Oil & Gas industry regulator. Mavis was an inaugural member of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Group, established in 2019 by Oil and Gas UK to drive inclusion in the UK oil & gas industry. She lives in Aberdeenshire with her husband, two sons, and a fox-red Labrador.
