Workshop Series with Dr. Elizabeth Meacham of Lake Erie Institute
How can we live in loving relationship, remembrance and reverence with the beings of the land where we live? Why does this matter?
In this series, you will learn practices, rituals, and ceremonies to connect deeply with nature. We will work with cultivating our natural senses (54 and more!), directions, elements, earth meridians, nature friends and allies, and simple land-healing practices that anyone can do.
On the first day of this series we will explore 54 natural senses identified by Michael J Cohen - one of the founders of eco-psychology - while learning about plants and trees, and their history, found on the farm.
You will be able to take what you learn back to the land where you live and/or other natural places that you want to create a relationship with.
You will get the most out of this series if you come to every session. Drop-ins are also welcome. Come when you can!
