Skills Development Fund Grant Award Ceremony for Ascension

Join Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA), the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), Ascension Texas as we celebrate the presentation of a Skills Development Fund grant supporting the continued development of Central Texas' healthcare workforce.
Following Ascension's ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of its new patient tower at Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital, TWC Commissioner Representing the Public Brent Connett will present the Skills Development Fund grant.
The grant will support leadership development, Lean Six Sigma for Healthcare certification, and professional credentialing opportunities for 660 direct patient care employees. This investment will strengthen patient care teams, expand nurse specialization and allied health capacity, and support employee retention and career advancement.
The grant presentation will recognize the strong partnership between Ascension, WSRCA, and TWC in developing a highly skilled healthcare workforce to meet the growing needs of Central Texas.
