This clinic is designed for athletes ready to conquer these dynamic skills. We'll break down the back walkover and the initial movements of the back handspring into manageable steps, focusing on the essential building blocks for success.
What to Expect:
Targeted Drills: Participants will engage in a variety of specific drills designed to improve form, control, and muscle memory for both the back walkover and the back handspring.
Conditioning & Strength: We'll work on the specific muscle groups necessary to safely execute and progress these skills, including core strength, shoulder stability, and leg power.
Flexibility & Stretching: Dedicated time will be spent on stretching exercises crucial for the flexibility required for a successful back walkover and the powerful arch of a back handspring.
At-Home Homework: Learn valuable conditioning, stretching, and simple drills that you can safely practice at home to continue your progress and get one step closer to attaining these exciting skills!

Pre-Requisites for this Clinic:
To ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all participants, students MUST be able to perform the following skills independently:
Back Bend Kickover
Cartwheel
Round-Off
Handstand - Hold for 3 seconds
Note: Participants should be comfortable with these foundational skills to get the most out of this specific skill-focused clinic.
