Now’s your chance! Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some jewellery-making experience, our 10-week Design + Make I course is the perfect place to build your skills and confidence.
Join tutor Nadine and learn how to design and create your own unique sterling silver jewellery. You’ll start by exploring sources of inspiration and developing your ideas in a sketchbook. and from there, you’ll progress through four mini projects: texture sampling, ring making, rivet and sweat soldering, wire-formed earrings. With these foundational skills under your belt, you’ll design and make a final piece entirely your own, using sterling silver.

Develop and refine jewellery designs
Use a piercing saw
Form and dome metal
Wire forming
Anneal silver and use a pickle bath
Ring soldering
Sweat soldering and riveting
Metal texturing, using hammers, stamps, and a rolling mill
Sand, finish, and polish your pieces
