This season, KNMA brings its Sketching Series to Utsav, The Square, GMR Aerocity in collaboration with India Experience® This season, KNMA brings its Sketching Series to Utsav, The Square, GMR Aerocity in collaboration with India Experience, Designed as an artist-led learning experience, each session focuses on a distinct theme, guiding participants through varied techniques and approaches to sketching. This series is an invitation to observe closely, engage deeply, and sketch intuitively. On 19–20 June, join Portrait sketching workshop with artist Gautam Rahul, a session that explores the art of observing and sketching the human face through studies of expression, structure, proportion, and character. Participants will engage with the nuances of facial features and learn to capture individuality through line, form, and attentive observation.Artist BioGautam Rahul is a visual artist based in New Delhi and Director of Sancha Art Studio. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the College of Art, New Delhi, and qualified NET & JRF in 2019. His practice spans painting, drawing, and collaborative projects, engaging with themes of observation and everyday experiences. Over the years, he has exhibited at galleries and art spaces including Art Heritage Gallery, Vadehra Art Gallery, Arts for All, and Alliance Française, while also participating in residencies and educational initiatives. He has received several recognitions, including merit awards at the College of Art Annual Exhibitions and distinction as a BFA topper.
