Sketch comedy is amazing but perhaps its toughest trait is how time consuming it can be to put a show together. Well not today, Satan!

In this workshop, Allie Entwistle of Brunch Comedy (arguably the co-queen of creating great sketch shows on a time budget) will lead you and your classmates in a fast, glamorous process in which you create a full set in a single day! Then, you and your new troupe will debut this creation as part of Bloc Fest 2024! 

How will it happen? Allie will lead your crew in a sweet, fun process that uses improv, riffs and a hell-ya-let’s-do-it attitude to finalize and lightly rehearse your comedy impulses into fun, shareable sketches. Come for the adventure, stay for the laughs! 

This slot is one way individuals can participate in our extremely fun festival Bloc Fest, but if you have a pre-set group of pals you’d like to do this course with, get in touch.

This class is open to anyone who has completed Advanced Scenes 1 or higher, Sketch 1, or who has equivalent long form/sketch experience (email us if you’re unsure!).
