Sketch & Social - Impressionist Painting Workshop

Join local artist and Art Teacher, Laura Matine, for a special workshop inspired by Monet's Impressionist landscapes. Learn to mix, blend and layer colour using the medium of acrylic paint. Observe live demonstrations and follow step by step tutorials to paint a beautiful Impressionist scene.

The workshop is being hosted in the Waterman's gorgeous back room: the Potting Shed. Join your fellow creatives for an evening of painting, socialising and drinking in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

What to expect:

-A two hour workshop, with guidance from Laura on mixing and applying colours in the style of great Impressionist masters.

-A piece of artwork to take away, created by you.

-All materials provided.

-Drinks and food available from the bar.

You'll be taking your artwork away with you at the end of the session, so please consider how this will be transported home. `We recommend bringing along a plastic bag or something to wrap your masterpiece in to protect it!

Please note that you and your clothes could could get a little messy, so don't come in your favourite outfit.
