Skate ‘N Bake
Here is some info about this fundraiser:

We invite you to bring some home made baking this coming Wednesday.
Make your favourite recipes or get experimental - One year for the same annual fundraiser we brought “brain cupcakes” to a skate session. Our theme that year was anatomical cupcakes. This year, our tamaiti has chosen a featured fruit per bake theme. No theme is necessary it’s just our thing after doing this big bake off for a few years now. Any baking is great baking!
Please label your containers or displays with allergen info such as gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy etc. Please check in with children and carers as some of our regular tamariki do have allergies.
Participation is optional. You’re welcome to just come for a rollerskate, rollerblade or floorball session.
The fundraising part - a few of our regular families already have fundraising pages. We will print out QR codes which are images that when you hover your phone camera over, they open website links. Our QR codes can direct you straight to our starship big bake off profiles where you can donate.
You may like to contribute your baking efforts to one of our fundraising pages.
Alternatively, you may like to set up your own fundraising page, you’ll find out how to do this via the Starship Big Bake Off link above.
Either way your tamariki are welcome to set up shop with us and help fundraise for Starship, or leave their baking at the fundraising table while they play and skate.
Sweet or savoury? A mix of both is good! Had too much sweet already? Consider donating in exchange for takeaway treats to eat later or to give as gifts.
Starship is close to our hearts as our tamaiti had multiple stays, procedures and surgeries there including open heart surgery. Fundraising for the air ambulance, the play therapy / sensory room and life saving technology - all makes such a difference for Starship families.
