The annual Polar Bear Plunge at the Greenview is on for 2026!Assuming Austin doesn't get another ice age and the world does not plunge into chaos, then we're jumping in with both frost bitten feet for the sexy sixth annual Polar Bear Plunge!
Bring your onesie or robe for before and after. There will be warm drink and foods to be had and of course contests to participate in. There will be a trophy for Biggest Splash, Fastest Swim, and Longest Breath Hold. Also, the coveted Asshole award.
If you're a past winner, please bring your trophy from last year to the plunge so it can be passed on. Remember to put your mark on it, change it, mark on it, glue things on it, whatever feels right to you. :)
And what do you want after a frigid plunge? To be warm and dry in a festive onesie of course. We'll be coming up to mine in our onesies to drink hot toddies and eat warm baked goods.
You do NOT have to swim but if you want a chance at any of the hard-sought-after trophies, we'd love to have you. If you just wanna watch some idiots freeze their butts off, then that'll be fun too!
