Sixth Annual DecARcerate Conference

All across the country, the carceral state is being expanded at a rapid rate. Arkansas is no different. Elected officials in our state are attempting to build a new 3,000 Pr*son costing taxpayers an estimated $500 million.

The Sixth Annual DecARcerate Conference will be a day-long event that brings together scholars, activists, and those personally affected by the Pr*son industrial complex to share information and personal stories. Throughout the day, lectures and panels will allow conference attendees to learn how they can fight efforts to expand Arkansas’ Pr*son industrial complex.

Doors open at 9 AM and the event begins at 10 AM.
