Meet our Presenters:
Jack Thomas: As vice president of economic development at the Little Rock Regional Chamber, Jack Thomas manages key relationships with company executives, site selection consultants, city and county officials, state agencies, utility providers and economic development partners like the Port of Little Rock and the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. Leading a team of economic development professionals, Thomas spearheads efforts in business attraction, retention and expansion, and small-business development, highlighting diversity and workforce development. He also facilitates the work done by the Metro Little Rock Alliance, a 12-county economic development organization showcasing the business opportunities in Central Arkansas.
James Isom: James leads each deal and works with Isom Company’s partners to understand their goals, and develop a financial model that meets those goals. His relationships with financial institutions, local government, and private investment groups allow him to create unique capital structures benefitting all stakeholders.
With 20+ years of experience building diverse teams, Isom Company selects each team member on a per deal basis based on their experience and understanding of the unique nature of the project. James will oversee each project and work with Isom Company’s partners, municipalities, designers, contractors, consultants, and the brokerage team to deliver Isom Company’s projects on time and within budget.
Janet Jones: Janet Jones, Owner and President of The Janet Jones Company, a successful real estate company based on a love of helping people. Janet started her company in 1980. Her philosophy of "The Golden Rule" with the highest possible emphasis on customer service and making people happy, is what continues to guide the company. She is a community leader and has served as the first female Chairman of the Greater Little Rock Chamber of Commerce board and as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board of the Little Rock Branch. She has served on various community boards throughout the years, including, CARTI, UALR, YMCA, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, Fifty for the Future, and Youth Home. She was named Business Executive of the Year by Arkansas Business, Sustainer of the Year by The Junior League of Little Rock, ranked in the Top 100 Women in Arkansas and Rotary Club of Little Rock Business and Professional Leader of the Year Award.
Jeff Hathaway: As president and CEO of Hathaway Group in Little Rock, Hathaway uses local knowledge and deep experience to overcome real estate challenges, all while displaying a deep adoration for the Natural State’s capital city. Hathaway has been selling real estate for decades with the firm, which was founded by his father, Jim Hathaway.
Before he joined the firm in August of 1983, Hathaway was an assistant investment manager for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Little Rock. He credits “on-the-job training” since the age of 23 for the incredible insight that clients of Hathaway Group count on.
Jeff Yates: Jeff Yates is an Arkansas licensed real estate broker, and an Arkansas licensed real estate instructor. He is the founding member of the Commercial Real Estate Council of Metro Little Rock, and a member of: the Arkansas Chapter of Certified Commercial Investment Members, the Arkansas Chapter of Society of Investment and Office Realtors, the Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Little Rock – currently chairing the Advocacy Committee, and ICSC – currently chairing the Arkansas Government Relations Committee.
Since 2014 Jeff has written a recurring column titled "What’s Happening in Commercial Real Estate” that is published monthly in The Daily Record.
