Six Steps to SANITY is a faith-based ministry and support group adapted from the bestselling book, Setting Boundaries with Your Adult Children by Allison Bottke, for people who are dealing with addiction in their families. Using the Setting Boundaries Companion Study Guide workbook, parents and families will learn how enabling and codependency contribute to addiction. Learning and applying these steps with other parents, spouses or other family members will produce healing and sanity in their lives. Six Steps to SANITY provides a safe, confidential environment that offers support and tools to navigate challenges that come with substance abuse.We invite and welcome anyone who is dealing with a loved one’s substance abuse, to include people from outside the Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, who could benefit from this ministry. Don’t suffer alone, you will be surrounded by people who know what you are going through. Sessions will meet for 12 weeks and will be held in the Multi Purpose Room and in the CDC Room 8&9 based on schedule.
