Welcome to the 50th anniversary of Six Flags Great America!!
This year for the alumni picnic, we have teamed up with the Six Flags Great America Junkies.
Date: Aug 2, 2026
Time: 1:30 - 3:00
To attend the picnic you must first join the SFGAm Junkies Facebook page. To receive your coupon code for the picnic you must contact one of the admins on that page.

There will be a Q&A session as well as a raffle. The picnic will include a buffet style lunch. Lunch includes fried chicken, hot dogs, potato salad, pasta salad, tossed salad, chips, ice cream, and soda.
Cost is $25 + tax for picnic only or
$66 + tax for park ticket, parking, and picnic.
Bring your friends and family to celebrate the 50th season at Great America!

Most people only know other people from the department they worked in. If you maintain contact with many of the people you worked with, please consider setting up a secondary get together for the day. If you are interested in being a department liaison, contact me (April Symoens) and I will link your specific department event to this one and add you as the contact person/s for that department. If you are a current employee, you should consult your department heads before organizing an event.
