Six-Course Wild Mushroom Dinner with a Mycologist at The Courtney Room
The beautiful Courtney Room is known for its focus on local ingredients and menus inspired by the seasonal changes of the Pacific Northwest. Their restaurant will be your host for the evening and prepare a mouth-watering wild mushroom menu accompanied by a talk from guest mycologist, Richard Winder. Chef will show off some of the best locally available mushrooms including chanterelles, turkey tails, morels, shiitakes and more. Mycologist, Richard will teach you about the history, biology and realistic health benefits of mushroom consumption.
Don’t miss this meticulously crafted feast that celebrates the rich, earthy goodness these fungi bring to every dish.
The evening starts at 5:30 pm with a sparkling wine (or non-alcoholic alternative) reception followed by dinner and presentation at 6 pm.
