Just ahead of Earth Day, Sisters of Cinema returns in April with a special screening of Agnès Varda's "The Gleaners & I." At 72, Agnès Varda became a digital pioneer, using a handheld camera to find beauty in what we throw away. From heart-shaped potatoes to discarded clocks, see how she turns gleaning into a celebration of community.
Tickets on sale now, $8 Circle Members and $10 non-members, include admission to the film and a post-film discussion led by Sisters of Cinema host Julia Holeman. The discussion will highlight Varda’s exploration of waste, consumerism, and the ethics of sustainability.
