Sisters in Swing is an all-women jazz ensemble based in Las Vegas. They play a variety of musical styles including jazz, funk, blues, and contemporary genres and sometimes invite and feature guest musicians and artists. The group is composed of Miranda Johnson (keys), Amy Crosley (drums), and Nora Nikolic (bass). Miranda plays jazz, classical, and contemporary styles, and regularly plays in lounges on the Strip and Water Street. She also plays in shows including Vegas! The Show and Zombie Burlesque at Planet Hollywood and ClueX. She has served as invited music director for Nevada Conservatory Theatre, and written music for musical-play productions. Amy Crosley is a drummer, percussionist, music educator, composer and plays frequently in shows on the Strip including Vegas! The Show, Zombie Burlesque, and in the Mayfair Supperclub at the Bellagio. Amy and Miranda are both graduates from the UNLV Jazz and Commercial Music program. Nora Nikolic is a student and bassist at the award-winning Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. She is in their jazz program and performs frequently at Vic’s Supper Club.
