Sisters in Rhythm Drum Circle is a gathering for women to explore the power of rhythm and connect through the heartbeat of the drum. Whether you’re a seasoned drummer or just curious to explore, this is a space to connect, express, and celebrate!
By playing the drums, we honor our most instinctual language of rhythm and let the drum guide us into deeper connection with ourselves and each other. The rhythms bring us back to the primordial self… she who remembers.
We will explore rhythms inspired by the heartbeat, and from cultures around the world. Frame drums, West African djembes and dun duns, congas, shekeres, and bells will be available.
Bring your own instrument if you have one, or use one of ours. And most importantly, bring an open heart and a willingness to let the rhythm move you.
Held on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, this circle offers a supportive and uplifting environment to share in the energy of sisterhood and the magic of collective rhythm.
Suggested love donation: $20.
